Cupcakes and Cashmere Edition ♥

First of all Happy Halloween Teens! It's the scariest time of the year and I hope you found something fancy to dress up! I felt like such a loser because everybody dressed up in Madrid and I did not! I don't know, costumes are just not my thing, they've never been. But it was cool to go out and see everybody looking like vampires, assasins, dead brides and so many more scary things.
So, my post today is about one of the best blogs ever, CUPCAKES AND CASHMERE.
I fell in love with it from the first time I saw it. The girl who writes in it is named Emily (she's stunning by the way) and she shares with us some of her favorite things about fashion, her daily routine, her food experiences and many more sweet things. Besides that, the pictures she takes make you want to jump into your screensaver to eat her food or to visit the places where she has been, the sights are just so beautiful. Everything is so amazing. It's something really good to check out before going to bed, somehow it gives you a warm feeling and makes you feel so comfortable.
Here are some pictures I took out of her website but if you want to check all the collection CLICK HERE (and don't forget about becoming a fan :))

Madrid State of Mind

Since I got to this amazing city, my days have been really busy and have gone by so quickly. You might see me walking downtown, checking out the latest trends, paying attention in class (which I have every single day) or just chillin' and partying with my friends.
But, somehow, I found such a great shelter from my crazy routine at the Starbucks next to my residence. I go there almost everyday to just have a quick snack after uni, or to grab something to drink in my room, or to work and write on my book (which has almost 70 pages, I'm so proud of myself).
It's so warm and cosy, and you mostly see beautiful people, really well-dressed, and so many foreign students. And, being away from the beat of the city, even if for just one or two hours per, day feels so good. It might sound has a cliche since everybody now knows Starbucks but I've always been such a big fan since I was a young teen and I've always loved their stuff (though I can never finish a slice of cake all by myself ahah).
So this is how my afternoons look like.

We will always have Madrid...

Since I was pretty lucky to have a schedule where I don't have afternoon classes three days a week (exactly Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday), I spent the last two afternoons getting to know Madrid a little better. I've been here for almost a month and a half and I feel I don't know enough of it. And since I adore this sunny but cold weather, I love going around this city just feeling its beat.
So yesterday I went downtown for a walk, spent a little time in shops like H&M, Topshop and Blanco, ate churros with hot chocolate at the famous Choloteria San Gines (that were amazing by the way) and finished my afternoon at the Palacio Real where I took some photos. It was amazing to see Madrid with almost no daylight, it is too beautiful.
Today I did Calle de Serrano which is the street that has all the expensive shops. I got crazy in shops such as Prada, Jimmy Choo, Louis Vuitton, Chanel (where I asked the price for the 2.55 purse, the classic black one with the gold chain, 2450 euros, I was in chock) and so many more. It was too much for my heart. I loved everything I saw and the shoes...Oh my God the shoes... Too beautiful.
Here are some of the pictures I took. I hope you like them.
