INSTA WEEK #6 - MY FIRST TWO WEEKS IN BULLE

Bulle, Switzerland. A small town where nothing much happens. Like in the rest of this entire country. But it is ok. At least this time I am not on top of the mountain. So, these first two weeks were interesting. I already learnt a lot of stuff in class, I am enjoying the subjects I am taking. And I already met a lot of people, very nice people. I have been also enjoying the company of my friends from last semester. Four of them are sharing a house instead of sleeping in the school housing. So many nights we get together at their place and laugh loads. And we did an amazing barbecue at their house last Thursday, so cool! Last week I had the chance to enjoy a beautiful Saturday afternoon on the lake. The sights are so pretty, see for yourselves! This place also has a lot of cows, it is very funny. I am very much looking forward for my next adventures and I will keep you posted on them. Besides, the 4th Birthday of The Teenage Royalty is coming up and I have a very special post prepared for you guys!

A LEOPARD AFFAIR

In my opinion, a piece of leopard print is always a good option. It's elegant, classy and super trendy. During the cold and hot seasons, it is super fun to mix with bold colors and it really makes a statement. Personally, I love to mix this animal print either with black or with a strong color, like blue or pink. It really works. But you can't abuse! Otherwise you will look ridiculous. My favorite leopard print pieces are definitely bags, shoes and blazers. As you can see in the picture below, I picked up a selection of this hot animal print. I have to tell that my favorites are: 1. the Blumarine bag, 2. the ZARA blazer, 6. the Dolce&Gabbana bag and 9. the FENDI loafers. I think all the pieces that I chose really make a statement and I love all of them. You know one thing? I think this print will never go out of fashion and will always be a trend because it adjusts itself to the markets needs. I also love to see this print mixed with studs. That's probably my favorite mix of all times, leopard print mixed with gold studs. What do you guys think about my picks? Do you like them?

ZARA FALL 2013

I'm going to be honest with you. Though I like Winter clothes and their "comfyness", I'm not that much into grey colors and the darkness that the coldest season of the year brings. But this ads from ZARA are just totally flawless. Oh-my-god, it's still hot outside and I already want everything. I don't even know where to start. Not to mention that ZARA is my favorite store of all times, the pieces they created for the next season are so amazing. The patterned coats, the long dresses, the hats, the blazers, the skirts... I want every single piece right now. And even if they are grey, it looks really good mixed with white. The coats in the first picture are already my favorites and I'm sure they will look really good inside my closet.

SKY FERREIRA BY HEDI SLIMANE

I have always been a huge fan of Miss Sky Ferreira. I found her almost three years ago and she keeps on amazing me. Her style, her look, her youth and her "i don't care" behaviour makes you want to party with her. I consider this 21 year-old babe true Teen Royalty, for obvious reasons, and I also love her music ("And now all I can hear is one, one, one, one, one..."). When I saw on her Facebook page that she was photographed by the current creative director for Saint Laurent, the one and only Hedi Slimane, I couldn't help myself to go check it out. And thank God I did. The result was just amazing, this is probably one of my favorite shoots of Sky of all times. It really shows an image of the next door babe that you want to hang out with and have a good time. And it's so cool to know that she has a bit of Portuguese blood (mixed with Brazilian and American). I think that Sky always stays true to herself in whatever she does and she never disappoints.

THE TEENAGE ROYALTY FOR ADIDAS

When I was on vacation in Lisbon, invited me to go with him to a very cool event. At Ministerium, Terreiro do Paço, right in the center of Lisbon, we got to know the Autumn/ Winter 2013/14 collection from Adidas Originals, full of color, personality and capable of pleasing everyone's different taste. Moreover, we had the chance to choose our favorite pieces from the collection and take professional pictures with them. And they also had a Schwarzkopf stand to do our hair and a Mary Kay stand for the make-up. I ended up choosing an amazing black and white sweater fom Jeremy Scott's collection for Adidas and a pair of sneakers that I found really cute. I love the way that this shoot turned out. The pics are really cool, and I wish I knew how to do this make-up, I like how my eyes stand out with the black eyeshadow. And I hope that, one day, I have the chance to buy the sweater, it's so Rita ahah. What do you guys think? Do you like it?

BEST OF SUMMER 2013

Well, technically it's still Summer, but I started classes today. I woke up for no particular reason at half past six in the morning, jumped into the shower, had breakfast with classmates and started the day with a three hour class of Basic Financial Accounting. Don't feel sorry for me, I actually liked it. Today I'm bringing you a collection of pictures that illustrate the best of my Summer. Between turning 23, having fun at Santos Populares, having my two besties from the Institute visiting me and staying at my house, going to the beach, trying new places and enjoying the hot weater, I still spent some quality time with my boyfriend, friends and parents/family. Summer went by so fast. But that's ok. I have so many good memories and I'm sure I made the best of it. Here in Switzerland the weather is actually pretty nice, I can't complain. Let's see what surprises this semester is bringing.
