H&M SUMMER 2013 CAMPAIGN BY TERRY RICHARDSON

When I entered the H&M here in Montreux today and saw these advertisements I wondered: "Is that Doutzen Kroes? She looks so young and joyful". I have to say that this babe looks beyond amazing in H&M Summer 2013 campaign. She's only 28 years-old but she looks even younger than that. She is sooo pretty. The shots were taken in Tulum, Mexico by the lens of the one and only Terry Richardson.

 

SAMUDRA BEACH BAGS

I have a thing for beach bags. I'm not saying the bags where you transport all your stuff to go to the beach. I'm saying those bags where you put your sunscreen and lipstick on. I love those, especially when they are silky and beach themed. So when I came across Samudra I almost had an heart attack. These beach bags are to die for. I can't even choose, I want literally all of them! They are sooo cute!! And when the beach season is off you can transport your iPad on them, so cool! Which on of them do you prefer? INSTA WEEK #4

I can not believe this semester is coming to an end. It seems like it was yesterday that I was flying to Switzerland to start my PG in Event, Sport and Entertainment Administration. And, as sad as I can be for the fact that I am not going to see my friends during Summer, I'm happy that I'm coming home in less than three weeks. I miss my parents, family, boyfriend and friends. And I miss the Portuguese Sun like hell. I can't wait to spend my days at the beach just relaxing. And I can not believe that I'm turning 23 in exactly one month!! That's crazy!! ahah. Well, let's hope for the best for the next few days, I'm one exam, two presentations and one project away from being in vaycay. Fingers crossed. Coming home on the 1st of June. Meanwhile, I leave you with some pictures from the last 10 days :)

Free People just launched the second part of their series of short films Roshambo! "In Roshambo: Rock, we go back in time to uncover a piece in Sheila and Chris's relationship history before they were reunited so serendipitously on a street in New York. At this point in time, Sheila and Chris have just parted ways, and she finds her world crumbling. To get him off of her mind, her best friends, played by Michele Ouellet and Britt Maren, swoop in and whisk her away to Rio de Janeiro. The three beauties wander the city, throw on electric bikinis to hit the water, and dance the night away when a Spanish love interest, played by polo player, Diego Osorio, makes his way into picture...". I fell in love with the first video the second I first laid eyes on it, but this one is even better. I just love the Rio sets, it makes me want to go back there. I can not believe that today was THE day. Today I finally reached "that" goal. 1000 followers. Today we are 1000. The first one! NEW CHANEL BABY

Today I decided to offer myself a lil' treat. I was in need of a new proper daily lipstick, to carry around with me in my bag all the time. I believe that great mascara and an girly lipstick can totally change your mood and make you feel more powerful. So when I came across number 79 SAGA from Chanel's line Rouge Coco Shine I fell head over heels in love with it. I think it's so cute and sexy.

I'D RATHER LIVE IN A PINK WORLD

I have to apologize to you for my almost two week absence, but lately I've been feeling kinda lost. It's like I lost my identity. I don't know if it makes sense to you, if you ever felt that way in your life. But lately I it's like I have so much stuff to do than I just don't do nothing. Switzerland has killed my personality a bit. I know it's hard for me to say this and try to understand what I'm saying. But here it's like I can't be myself. I'm usually a very active person, I don't like to stay at home, I love being with my friends and I'm saying jokes all the time. But here I just feel lazy, being in the middle of nowhere is hard. And that's why I haven't blogged in a long time. I'd rather be quiet than do shitty posts.

But yesterday I took a deap breath and said to myself "Bitch, get your shit together". I love blogging sooo much that I'm even surprised that this mood of mine afected such sacred place like my blog. I'm sorry if I disappointed you somehow. We are almost reaching 1000 followers and in August we celebrate the 4th anniversary of The Teenage Royalty!! OMG, I can't believe it! So, what I'm trying to say is, though I'm in the middle of nowhere in Switzerland studying, that doesn't mean I can't be myself. I need to try to stay as close to my heart as possible and follow my dreams. If we lived in a pink world where everything was perfect it would be so much easier. But we don't live in a pink perfect world. So I believe that we should take as much as possible from every single one of our life experiences. Because everything happens for a reason. I promise I'll keep blogging everyday and you guys please don't stop reading my posts because I'm really devoted to this place that has already opened a lot of doors (and windows) to me. I'm here, and I'm not going anywhere, I swear.

Well, I'd rather live in a pink world, but what you have in real life is so much better.

INSTA WEEK #3

This past week wasn’t properly easy. I have to confess that being away from home, from my boyfriend, my parents, my friends and family has been harder than I thought it would be. Being on top of the mountain in Switzerland has its good things like having a beautiful view, amazing food and great people to be surrounded by. But being in place where there’s basically anything to do, for an active person like me, it’s very hard. Moreover, my allergies have been literally killing me. I can’t barely feel my nose, my chest hurts from coughing and my eyes are itchy all the time. It’s so annoying!! So, as you can’t see, my life hasn’t been easy up here. But I’m not a quitter and I’m still trying to take the best I can from this experience. I’m going to have a very busy week with lots of work that will keep me entertained. I will find time to keep posting for you and keeping on doing the best blogging I can! You Teens are always with me :)

MY MAKE-UP ROUTINE

I'm a huge believer that first impressions last forever and it's something people may never forget. Everyday you should be dressed and be prepared to bump into your worst enemy. Your face, your posture, your non-verbal language describe who you are and how other people may see you. And, if you want to create a great impact and leave a good impression, always look your best. And that's when make-up comes in! I started wearing make-up when I first started going out when I was around 15 and I've always had some very good make-up skills, to be honest. Today I'm here to reveal my make-up products to you and some of my tricks, which I hope maybe useful for you.

First of all, here they are, my main tools for a fresh and youthful face :)

I always start my make-up routine with Benefit's Porefessional. I think it is a great product, it's not steeky and it really helps in making the pores disappear. Then I put on M.A.C.'s Matchmaster Foundation and the imperfection's remover, for the shadows under the eyes for example. I have always been a great M.A.C. fan, though their products are a bit expensive, the quality is unbelievable.

After I use M.A.C.'s Bronzing Powder (so I don't look pale like I usually do) and Bobby Brown's blush to give a bit more color to me cheeks. Then I pass to the eyes and, I have to say, Urban Decay's Naked 2 is my best friend. I have never been a great fan of eye shadows, but these are just amazing! They really make your eyes stand out and you have so many colors to choose from. I love this pallet so much!

These are my three main tools for the eyes: the Max Volume Flash Mascara from Rimmel London, the Khol & Contour XL black pencil and the Liner Feutre eyeliner from Bourjois. These three give you a bold look and a long lasting eye perfection. Since I have green eyes, black really makes my eyes pop. I'm sure yours will too.  

And, to finish, the lips. And there is nothing better then the age-fighting lip primer Timewise from Mary Kay to give you gorgeous lips. Buy it and apply it before putting on your lipstick. My favorite color for the lips is pink. And Make Up For Ever has an amazing range of lipsticks for you to choose from.
