Vogue Fashion's Night Out 2012

I seriously had the time of my life at this year's VFNO. I just loved to walk through the streets (that were surprisingly crowded) and to check the stores that were opened until late hours. I stopped by Lanidor, Prada, Gucci, Stradivarious,... and all of them were full of people checking the latest trends and shopping. Lisbon was fulfilled with glamour, shopaholics and smiling faces. I saw lots of people that I don't see that often and I had so much fun with my friends. In the end, my feet were killing me. But it was totally worth it :)

Hi Teens! I wanted to show you what I wore yesterday. I really like the entire idea around the outfit. I turned the Free People's New Boyfriend Denim Shorts into an awesome pair of high-waisted shorts and I think the final result is amazing. And I just love how comfortable the outfit is. It's just perfect to go shopping or go meet your friends in the end of the day. What do you like the most about it?

STREET STYLE TRENDS @ NYFW

Fashion Weeks are a great spot to check the latest trends. New York Fashion Week is like no other. From slightly colored hair to studds everywhere, from lacey pieces and digital prints to crossed jewelry and from military patterned clothes to creepers, these are the things that should be ruling your wardrobe now. What's your favorite trend? I just love studds and animal prints, not to mention animal prints.

"ALOHA FROM NEW YORK" - Mara Hoffman Spring 2013

Since I didn't have much time during the weekend to update myself on what was happening at New York Fashion Week, the first thing I did when I arrived at the office this morning was opening Style.com to check the latest fashion shows' pictures. Some I liked, others not so much. But my favorite was Mara Hoffman's. I died a bit inside when I saw her creations. The concept she created was "Aloha From New York" and, by the pictures, you can totally tell why. I can’t help but loving the chiffon maxi gowns and the bright, color-blocked details, the bikinis, the shorts, the tops, the…EVERYTHING!!! The collection has “Rita” written all over it. I love how she mixes the colors and the patterns in such a perfect way. Everything is so amazing. I'm trying to choose my favorite pieces but it is impossible because I want it all. Backstage before the show, Hoffman told Style.com, "I realized everyone isn't necessarily looking to wear Alex Wang, so I decided to stay true to myself and bring my energy, pure and clean.". And so she did.
