It's a Blair Affair! ♥

As everybody knows, I'm a HUGE Leighton Meester fan! Not only because she plays Blair on Gossip Girl and I'm totally in love with her character, but also because she is such a fashion inspiration to me, on and off-screen. Let's get down to business, who is the girl who hasn't already envied her character's closet or her amazing sense of style? She's so incredible.

I've to say that Gossip Girl owned my heart since the first episode. I started watching it even before it came out on TV in Portugal and, since then, my Mondays haven't been the same. And Blair has always been my favorite character. I which I could have her attitude, her closet ... and Chuck, of course.

But sometimes we forget that there's a person behind the character. Leighton is such a loving and humble person off-screen. You can tell that she is totally funny but a hard worker at the same time. Besides playing Blair like nobody else could does, she stars in two movies, Country Strong and The Rommate, already out in the USA. The last one is about a totally psycho girl, Rebecca, who obsesses over her roommate, Sara (played by Minka Kelly). I watched the trailer and I have to say that it's kinda scary.

Leighton was also the cover girl for this month's issue of NYLON MAGAZINE. Her photo shoot (by Marvin Scott Jarrett) is so cute and her pictures are stunning. It's so curious how actress Michelle Trachtenberg, who played Georgina on Gossip Girl, where their characters couldn't stand each other, is actually one of Leighton's best friends. It's impossible not to love her.

Terry Richardson's Powerful Pics

One of my favorite photographers in the world is Terry Richardson. My best friend Z. (who owns THIS amazing blog) introduced me to him a couple of years ago and, since then, I've always been a great fan of his work. He has already photographed so many people that I look up to, such as Lily Donaldson, Jessica Stam, Lara Stone, Lily Cole, Daisy Lowe and so many more. All of his pictures have a special taste. They are really tragic and beautiful at the same time.
But his photos are not only about people. He also photographs things that transmit strong messages and that inspire his job. I was going through his diary this morning and I colected a bunch of pictures that I want to share with you. They are amazing and so shocking. Perfect Sunday ♥ - "Why can't I keep you safe as my own?"

Shotgun menos um.

TEENS, já despachei mais um. A frequência de Técnicas del Reportaje correu-me muito bem. Agora faltam só mais três e dia 19 volto para Lisboa. À pouco, antes de regressar a casa, ofereci a mim própria dois presentes como compensação do esforço que tenho feito nos últimos dias. São eles o verniz 217 SPLENDEUR da CHANEL e o batom RUGE PUR 19 da Yves Saint Laurent. Já os andava a namorar há imenso tempo e, como tinha os cartões de oferta do Natal, decidi comprá-los já a pensar no próximo Verão.

No próximo Verão quero uma explosão de cores dentro do meu armário. Quero ver vestidos, saias, camisas, tudo com a maior quantidade de cores fortes e alegres possível. A colecção da H&M está muito boa e sei que aqui em Madrid há várias coisas que não existem em Portugal e, como odeio andar vestida igual a toda a gente, vou tentar comprar umas coisinhas antes de voltar. Também ainda tenho de ir a Hollister comprar uma camisa e vou ver se ainda encontro uns bikinis engraçados.

Enfim, a noite de hoje promete ser muito animada e, acima de tudo, merecida. Está cá uma grande quantidade de portugueses meus conhecidos e tenho a certeza que nos vamos divertir imenso todos juntos. Amanhã vou ver se consigo por aqui algumas fotografias.
