EMA's Live Concert @ Madrid, 7.11.10 (my pictures and my videos)

Since this year's European Music Awards were here in Madrid last Sunday, I was fortunate enought to have the chance to attend the live concert at Puerta de Alcalá where 30 Seconds To Mars, Katy Perry and Linkin Park preformed. I'm not a big fan of 30 Seconds To Mars but their show was really good, and Kanye West made a surprise and got up on stage to sing "Hurricane" and "Power". I still can't believe I saw him. And Katy Perry was amazing as always, she is just too gorgeous. Since I know her songs by heart, I spent the all concert singing and jumping, it was so much fun. About Linkin Park I can't say much because I wasn't there, I don't like their music.
These pictures and videos are all mine. If you want to see the whole collection of pictures click here, and become a fan in this amazing blog's Facebook Fanpage.

True Teen Royalty ♥ - Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen

I've been such a great fan of this two sisters since I was a little kid. I remember watching their movies and see their pictures in the magazines I read when I was a teen. Nowadays they've taken it to a brand new level and they became true fashion icons. They're trendy, fashionable and stunning. But the last one they've always been. Paparazzis follow them wherever they go and I'm sure many of us wanted to own their closets. I bring to you a mash-up of pictures of the Olsen twins, which I think are totally intemporal.

True Teen Royalty ♥ - Ke$ha

Ke$ha steps on her tippy toes in a spread for Blackbook Magazine’s latest issue. Here’s what the 23-year-old “We R Who We R” singer had to share:

On the dollar sign in her stage name: “Anybody would get sick of that question, especially if you’re being asked 45 times every day, but I’m the ass—- who put it there. I had no money when I chose it and, instead of wallowing in self-pity, I decided to use it as a statement of self-worth.”

On her tough upbringing: “I had the best time of my life when I was dead broke and digging—literally digging—through old T-shirts on the street. I always looked good, and when I’d find something that fit my body properly, it made me feel euphoric—kind of like how I feel when I write a good song.”

On living at home with her mom: “Why pay rent? Maybe I’ll move out of my mom’s basement sometime soon, hopefully.”

As the adventure continues...

Hi Teens! So, my adventure in Madrid continues and I’m sorry about the lack of posts but this week was totally insane and I’ve been really busy!
Yesterday my day was crazy. Though I spent my morning in classes, I went for a walk around town during the afternoon. I got in a few pastry shops that have so many beautiful things, from cookies to chocolates to macarrons (I love particularly the heart cookies you can see in the picture)and I tasted the best white chocolate ice-cream ever in an Italian ice-cream shop.

I passed by Mercado de San Miguel, that sells food to fish to flowers, everything really well displayed. You can just seat there and ask for whatever you want to eat because everything comes in small doses and everything looks really great.

I visited Plaza Mayor, one of the most touristic places in Madrid that have many typical restaurants and shops.

I walked Calle de Alcalá, where a shop for “Melhor Bolo de Chocolate do Mundo” (actually the best chocolate cake in the world) opened yesterday. So yummy!!

While I was passing by Puerta de Alcalá, I realised that the live concerts of Katy Perry, 30 Seconds to Mars and Linkin Park will be there on Sunday. I’m so excited to see Katy!!

And since the Mtv EMA’S are here in Madrid this year, last night I was paparazzi right at the front door of the MTV EMA’S Launch Party. I thought I was going to see someone really famous such as Katy Perry, Kesha or Justin Bieber but there only were some Spanish celebrities so I was a little bit disappointed!

Anyways, I’ll try to keep you updated as my experience in this amazing city goes on. Soon I’ll be seing Steve Aoki and M.I.A. live, I’m sure it will be amazing!

Cupcakes and Cashmere Edition ♥

First of all Happy Halloween Teens! It's the scariest time of the year and I hope you found something fancy to dress up! I felt like such a loser because everybody dressed up in Madrid and I did not! I don't know, costumes are just not my thing, they've never been. But it was cool to go out and see everybody looking like vampires, assasins, dead brides and so many more scary things.
So, my post today is about one of the best blogs ever, CUPCAKES AND CASHMERE.
I fell in love with it from the first time I saw it. The girl who writes in it is named Emily (she's stunning by the way) and she shares with us some of her favorite things about fashion, her daily routine, her food experiences and many more sweet things. Besides that, the pictures she takes make you want to jump into your screensaver to eat her food or to visit the places where she has been, the sights are just so beautiful. Everything is so amazing. It's something really good to check out before going to bed, somehow it gives you a warm feeling and makes you feel so comfortable.
Here are some pictures I took out of her website but if you want to check all the collection CLICK HERE (and don't forget about becoming a fan :))
